The Mignon originally traces back to Henrik Kugler, who in the 19th century created this small, fondant-coated pastry, initially named after him as the kugler. Later, when Emil Gerbeaud took over the patisserie, the name changed to Mignon, but the delicacy retained its classic form. We are delighted that this iconic treat has now returned to Gerbeaud, paying tribute to Kugler’s legacy, and this time crafted in a gluten-free version.
An elegant dessert where layers of soft sponge cake, refreshing bergamot lemon jelly, and silky white chocolate cream come together in perfect harmony. The cake is coated with a glossy glaze that delicately highlights its creamy textures. The citrus freshness and the gentle sweetness of white chocolate combine to create a truly exceptional dessert experience.
