The mignon is one of the oldest favourites in Gerbeaud's history: it was already among the most sought-after treats in Henrik Kugler's shop on Vörösmarty Square, and in everyday speech it soon became known simply as kugler. For autumn and winter, we have reimagined this iconic petit gâteau with warming, spiced flavours.
Soft sponge cake and an almond crunch base are topped with a rum and citrus soaked sponge layer, a nod to the classic Hungarian punch cake. A spiced fruit ganache adds festive, wintry notes, and a glossy mirror glaze finishes it all. A perfect choice for cold winter afternoons and festive tables alike.
